California Legislature Continues Progress on National Popular Vote Campaign

A picture of the California State FlagOn June 28th, the National Popular Vote Campaign won another victory in the state of California with the passage of AB 2948 by the Senate Elections Committee by a margin of 3-1.

The National Popular Vote plan has been introduced in California, Colorado, Missouri, Illinois, and New York, and recently passed out of committee in the Louisiana state house. The campaign has also found new sponsors in Vermont, Delaware, and Arizona.
