New York Times' Thomas Friedman proposes IRV & Redistricting Reform

Prize-winning author and New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman on March 24th endorsed innovations to empower new voices in American politics. He focuses on two long-time FairVote priorities: redistricting reform and instant runoff voting (which he calls by its British name, alternative voting). Friedman's support follows in the wake of significant progress for IRV, including pro-iRV commentary from USA Today's editorial staff and former White House officials Donald Marron (Bush administration) and Hendrik Hertzberg (Carter administration).
