Winner: FairVote Board Member Hendrik Hertzberg
Hendrik Hertzberg, senior editor at the New Yorker magazine and
long-time board member of FairVote, won a National Magazine award
for the New Yorker on May 9th for his commentary in the "Talk of the
Town" section.
Hertzberg is a particularly eloquent and persuasive advocate of electoral reform, whose dedication to reforms like instant runoff voting, proportional voting, and the new National Popular Vote campaign has raised awareness of the need to fix our broken elections.
