The Governor's Commission on Strengthening Utah's Democracy today unanimously recommended FairVote-endorsed policies on automatic voter registration and election day registration -- the latest sign of growing transpartisan recognition of the value of modernizing voter registration systems to provide better voter rolls and remove barriers to voter participation. Other recommendations include online voter registration, lobbying restrictions and campaign finance reform.
