The University of Minnesota blog Smart Politics had a piece on an event held by FairVote Minnesota last night to support instant runoff voting inititives in the state. Read it here, along with a supportive account in the in the Minneapolis Star Tribune:

The event featured several prominent figures in Minnesota politics, including former U.S. Senator David Durenburger, Secretary of State Mark Ritchie, and the state Chair of the Democratic Farmer Laborer Party, Brian Melendez. By all accounts, it was a smashing success. Participants even got to utilize IRV to pick the desert!
