FairVote Board Appoints New Chair
FairVote is proud to announce the ascendancy of longtime FairVote friend and board member Krist Novoselic to Chair of the Board. A member of the groundbreaking rock band Nirvana, Novoselic is one of rock's most politically-minded musicians. Following his 2004 national book tour with FairVote, promoting his book "Of Grunge & Government: Let's Fix This Broken Democracy!", Krist has become increasingly established as a leader in the electoral reform movement and is well-poised to lead FairVote into a new era of successful advocacy and reform.
We are also pleased to announce the appointment of former congressman and FairVote Chair John B. Anderson to the position of Chair Emeritus of the FairVote Board. Congressman Anderson will remain an active member of the FairVote board and we are truly excited for all of the new opportunities this appointment will bring.
